Moving?

I'm seriously thinking about moving my blog to WordPress. Blogger has been driving me mad for months (if not longer) by putting photographs where it wants (even though you can specify where you want them),moving my Page Elements around and generally not being at all helpful. For no reason, a couple of days ago my sidebar moved to the bottom of the page! Now, I didn't ask it to, more to the point I didn't want it to. Strangeley though on the page elements page they still look as if they are on the side but NO, they are at the bottom and I can't seem to do anything about it aaarghhh!!

If anybody who has more knowledge than me about blogger (and that's not difficult believe me) can they make any suggestions otherwise before long I'm off to WordPress.
