Doors

It's been quite a while since I last blogged. Really don't know where time goes. Partly, I haven't been feeling too well and it seems to be going on forever and its completely wiped out any inspiration I may have had for sewing. I've also start4ed a new job which is always difficult. Haven't achieved too much at all since my last entry. Started a cornucopia for a swap but that's laying on the table waiting for some inspiration as are lots of my projects. I'm not fighting it though. I know sooner or later the enthusiasm will come back and I'll be up and away with all my bits and pieces. Since I haven't anything to show craft wise I am going to put up some more photographs from my travels to Germany. A couple are of doors I saw in Bremen.

Some of the buildings are quite impressive and gave me lots of ideas.

A couple more of the pictures were taken at Castle Ashby, a local stately home. The gardens are superb and DD, GDs and I spent a lovely day last Monday walking around the gardens (one of the days it didn't rain). The Orangery is magnificent.

The last picture I just liked. I suppose I could have composed it a little morre professionally but I just go around 'snapping' and most of the time (well about 50%) I am happy with what I come out with. this one could turn into something I think. When the muse returns I'll play around with it a bit.

DS,DIL and GS returning from Germany tomorrow and are moving to Ripon so they will be a little closer. Looking forward to that. Just hope the weather is good while they are here. If we have much more rain we will start growing webbed feet! Where's the summer gone everybody is asking.
