First Journal

Have almost finished my first journal for the online class I am taking part in. It has been fun although now I have finished the journal itself I can see the mistakes I have made. However, that's what these classes are all about, that you learn from your previous mistakes. I still have tags and pockets to add but these will be done today. I might also go and buy some fancy paer. the paper I used to separate the signatures was just heavier paper, colour washed and printed with a childs flower stamp (to carry the flower theme through. I suppose I could make the tags flower shaped as well?? Hmm, needs some thought.

Anyway, very enjoyabale and the instructions for this class were excellent. Can't wait until tomorrows new lesson.

Still need to finish quiltie, something else for today I think and I've discovered I've signed up (in a mad moment I think ) for three postcard swaps. Luckily the posting dates aren't until May but I do need to start thinking about them.

Just a little side note - we have snow!!! Weather is really out of kilter.

Heather, my friend Di is notorious for putting herself down - I think it is a Quilter's trit - she does fabulous things, more than I would ever dare try. She is very adventurous. Keep it up Di, this is great.
