I belong to an on-line forum and for the past year we have been doing a Row by Row quilt. 9 members from Australia and the UK have been beavering away sewing rows for each other. We each chose a theme or colour and started a quilt journal which was passed to each member so they could comment on the row they had done and also to see if there were any special requests. On the whole we all managed roughly to keep to the timetable (I had some very patient friends!!). It was fun to do as each row had a particular theme and at times it took us out of our comfort zone! For me it was paper piecing!!!! Never, ever, ever again will I do paper piecing. Anyway as today was my day off work I decided to get all my rows together and take a photograph. Wow was I pleased. As each row arrived I was really pleased as people had ckept to my request about colours. But it wasn't until I put them together that I saw the overall effect. What do you think? This is now top of my list of things to do. To put together properly.
