Have done a few rows of herringbone. Was going to do more but after seeing some of the wonderful examples done I've decided I have to practice more and also explore the effects that different weights of thread make. My eventual aim is to use all these stitches to actually quilt a piece of work. Nikki Tinkler (www.nikkitinkler.com) has written an excellent book doing just this. She is a hand quilter just like me and she has done some beautiful work. I'm thinking perhaps 4 in sqs each using a different stitch. Does that sound like another UFO to you? I'm thinking if I actually state it here I'll have to finish it!!!!
I've just tried to download my pictures and the battery needs re-charging. Aaargh!!! Anything technical drives me mad. Will try tomorrow morning after camera has charged up overnight.
