Managed to get photo uploaded. As I said before I have only done a few rows. Also in my last post I mentioned Nikki Tinkler (www.nikkitinkler.com) but forgot to mention the name of the book I got my idea from. It's called Quilting With A Difference. Excellent book.
Well, off to do a bit more buttonhole stitch. Very dark, windy and wet here. Hope the wind dies down tomorrow. Off to see youngest son and family and we have to do the dreaded M1, M25 journey and across the QE2 bridge and that's HIGH!!

I, too, love the hollyhock kind of flower with the buttonhole stitch. I made some I just loved last week. Yours look great on that background.
Maybe your comment went on her blog. =) I remember your HB stitching. My comment was that it's amazing how different it looks in the different colors, and that I liked that third row where you combined it with straight stitches. The variegated threads make it look so different, too.
