Proof.....

These are not very good photographs. I really will have to invest in a decent camera. Can't ask for one for Christmas because I'm already getting the extension table for my Bernina!! Shop rang today and said it was in. I couldn't understand DH not wanting to rush up and get it for me. He's going to make me wait until Christmas Day!!! How mean is that?

Anyway back to the photographs

No 1 is a challenge I started about 10 or so years ago. We were all given a little packs of fabric samples (that's how they did it in those days). Anyway we had to use this pack in any way we saw fit. Most people (sensible people), made either a cushion, wall hanging or something reasonably manageable. Not me, what did I start? Yep, a quilt and not just a single quilt or double but a kingsize!!!!! Well it sat there year after year just waiting for another row and sashing to be put on. Anyway I found it and decided to finish it. It is now just waiting to be sandwiched and quilted.

The second pic is just a table runner I made. I only started that in the summer so by my standards that has been finished quickly (well, just about four inches of binding to sew down).

Lastly, my Boxy Stars (one of Bonnie Hunter's patterns over on Quiltville). I started this with a friend in Australia. We exchanged 2 in strips and I started it with great enthusiasm. Friend in Australaia made hers in double quick time! Me, well I made two blocks and it got put away with all the strips ready cut out. That was resurrected about 3 months ago and it is also waiting for sandwiching and quilting. Not as bad as the challenge one, this is only about 48" x 36".

I'm currently working on a small art quilt as a Christmas gift for my friend Evie in New Zealand, Just pout the binding on tonight and will sew it down tomorrow and put it in the post on Friday. I'll take a pic before it goes on its way.
