Getting Organised .......

I haven't blogged for a while. Time just seems to fly by these days, particularly the evenings. Get in from work, cook dinner, clear up and before you know it the evening has gone. So I have to be more organised. Tonight I've finished off some postcards for the grandchildren, my nephew and my friend Jan's GD. I've taken a picture of a couple of them. Very simple but I hope they like them.

I am hoping to start (how many times have I said that) my Quiltie tomorrow. Know what I am going to do but have to gather the bits for it like beads, fabric etc. I'll take a picture of all the bits tomorrow.

I have also decided to finish some UFOs. A couple of years ago an Australian friend and I decided to make one of Bonnie Hunter's quilts called Boxy Stars. The link for Bonnie's site Quiltville is on the sidebar. We swapped strips and started make the quilts. My friend finished hers in double quick time but mine ended up as a UFO. Well I resurrected it over Christmas and have made good progress. I have the components for 8 blocks to put together and just need to do another 4. Really like Bonni's quilts as they are all scrappy and she uses strips. So simple it's great.

I think I mentioned in a previous post the swap I was in entitled Mardi Gras. I have taken some pictures of cards I have recieved and they are all superb. I will post some pictures over the weekend.

The pictures seem to have put themselves where they want!!!!! I'll post some more tomorrow
